Hi Greg,
I always enjoy watching movies and participating in your Oscar quiz. For those of us who have not seen all the films, an entry of “I don’t have a clue” might be appropriate so as not to slant the voting with SWAGs (Scientific Wild A** Guesses). Say Hi to Lisa, Tom

The actress born three days after Burt Lancaster is Vivian Leigh. Why/How they are associated I don’t know.... Were both romantically involved with Olivier? Did both have the same mental illness? Did both rely on the kindness of strangers?

My best guess is Yul Brynner, but I have no idea of his connection with Burt Lancaster.
Were they both in the original film version of “The King and I”?

It was Vivien Leigh and he starred with her in a Street Car Named Desire.?

Who cares about Burt Lancaster? The best thing about November 2, 2013 is that I turned 65 and got off the self-employment health insurance conspiracy and on to the Medicare rolls!!!

Greg: I am very happy you invited me to the Oscar Vote… I have not seen you in a long time but I always have warm thoughts for you and Lisa… I hope you guys make it to Mexico… I promise that if I take you to the movies here, the movie will have subtitles… say NO to DUBBING...
As for the Quiz, my memory tells me (yeah right) that Vivien Leigh was born on November 5th, 1913 and that Lawrence Olivier was her second husband. Olivier and Lancaster were together in The Devil’s Disciple… but then again, somebody else mentioned it before…
Say hello to Lisa!

Hi Greg - looking forward to the festivities tonite. Wish I had a way to reopen my ballot - I am thinking that the politics of the day may negatively impact Kate Blanchett so now I am thinking Amy Adams will get Best Actress. BTW I just posted some Oscar theme pics to my Facebook page - check it out. Mary
